How do I reset my root password?

To reset your VPS root/administrator password:

  1. Log in to the Unified Panel
  2. Click on your server
  3. Open the server's settings menu
  4. Choose "Reset Password"
  5. Confirm the reset in the dialog
  6. The new password is shown in the panel — store it somewhere safe

Important: The server must be powered on for password reset to work. This changes the OS-level password, not your panel login password.
