How do I schedule automatic restarts?

Automatic restarts help keep your server running smoothly:

1. Log in to the Unified Panel and open your game server
2. Open the "Schedules" tab
3. Click "Create Task"
4. Give the task a name and set Type to "Power Action", with the action restart
5. Pick a schedule, for example:
   • "Daily at a set time…" (such as 4:00 AM in your time zone)
   • "Every 6 Hours" or another preset
   • A custom cron expression for specific days and times
6. Optional: add broadcast messages to warn players. Each one is sent the number of minutes you choose before the restart, up to 5 messages
7. Click "Create Task"

Best practices:

• Schedule restarts during low-traffic hours
• Warn players 5 to 10 minutes before a restart
• Daily restarts suit busy Minecraft, Rust and ARK servers
• If you have the backup add-on, set your backup time shortly before the restart
