Deploying a Game Server

Pick your game

From the customer area open Store → Game Servers. We support 139+ games via official Docker templates — Minecraft (Java & Bedrock, with paper, forge, fabric, and modpacks), Rust, ARK: Survival Evolved/Ascended, Valheim, Palworld, 7 Days to Die, Terraria, and many more.

Choose a plan

  • RAM — the most important number for most games. Minecraft modpacks and ARK want 6–8 GB+; Valheim and Terraria are happy with 2–4 GB.
  • Slots — player count limit. Tied to the game template.
  • Location — pick the datacenter closest to your players for low ping.

Provisioning

The container is created on the game host with a unique IP and port assignment. The panel shows real-time progress. When status flips to Running, the connection address is shown at the top of the service page.

First-launch checklist

  1. Open the Console tab and confirm the game has finished its first start-up. Modded games often take several minutes the first time as they generate worlds and download assets.
  2. Open the Startup tab to set variables: server name, MOTD, difficulty, max players, world seed, and game-specific options.
  3. Stop and start the server once after changing startup variables so they apply.
  4. Connect from your game client using the address shown on the service page.

Subusers

Want a friend or moderator to manage the server without giving away your account? Open the Subusers tab and invite them by email with the exact permissions you choose (console, files, start/stop, etc.).
